The Art of Confidence – M.Kritsidima

Speaking in public is a fear for a lot of people, whether it’s giving a speech, a work interview, a toast at your friend’s wedding, or being called for a presentation. Fortunately, you can make speaking in public less anxiety related!

Try to get confident!

Confidence is generally described as a state of being certain, either that a hypothesis is correct or that a chosen course of action is the best or most effective for you!

Get confident firstly by believing in your capacity to improve. People generally do better if they have a growth mindset. Get to know your material and practice, practice, practice! With practice you will get confident by reducing physiological over arousal. You can learn how to calm yourself by practicing breathing techniques. Get confident by knowing the audience, get the experience! It’s easier to speak to a group of friends than to strangers. It is helpful to also know the room, less stress related stimulus.

When you get confident then you can be relaxed and deliver your message knowing that the audience wants you to succeed.

When you get confident you can smile, pause and transform nervous energy into enthusiasm.

When you get confident your voice gets laud and clear.

You can never feel confident unless you practice, practice, practice!

Learn the key of public speaking.

Gain experience and your speech will represent you — as an authority and as a person!
