Public Speaking & Leadership Skills Workshop
Glyfada Toastmasters would like to invite you to a special workshop at BCA in Glyfada on Monday, February 16. At the workshop participants will learn how they can get the skills and confidence to express themselves effectively in any situation and overcome their public speaking challenges by giving and receiving constructive feedback and becoming better listeners and better speakers!
Every Toastmaster meeting is a supportive and positive learning experience in which members are empowered to develop their communication and leadership skills, resulting in greater self-confidence and personal growth.
A participation Certificate will be given out to all attendants.
How does it work?
A Toastmasters meeting is a learn-by-doing workshop in which participants hone their speaking and leadership skills in a no-pressure atmosphere.
There is not a specific instructor in a Toastmasters meeting. Instead, members evaluate one another’s presentations. This feedback process is a key part of the program’s success.
Meeting participants also give impromptu talks on assigned topics, conduct meetings and develop skills related to timekeeping, grammar and parliamentary procedure.
